That’s why we teamed up with Finding Thabo, a programme dedicated to early childhood development (ECD), to host a special workshop. This session, created just for SweepStars, focused on fun, play-based learning techniques that help improve caregiving for families with young children.
What is Finding Thabo?
Finding Thabo is an awesome initiative developed by The Reach Trust, a non-profit that’s passionate about improving early childhood development in South Africa. The programme uses a play-based game that stimulates key parts of a child’s brain, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
Designed to be used by caregivers, parents, and early childhood educators, the game helps engage children in fun activities that are also educational. It focuses on the crucial brain development period before the age of five, ensuring kids get the early stimulation they need to thrive.
